 PAST EVENTS:

Thank you to everyone who came to Ruff Riders Motorcycle Ride on July 10, 2010!! The event was a big success and we hope to do it again next year!! We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to our volunteers that worked so hard to put this on, Texas Roadhouse for providing yummy food, Harvesting Murphy for giving us some great music, the Moose Lodge for allowing us to use their facility, and Loving Heart Animal Shelter for being a part of of our event! Also thank you to those that helped sponsor the event: Lafayette Community Bank, Lafayette'e Hideaway, C&M Construction, Hooters of Lafayette, Revolution Tatoo and Body Modification, Spykes Clinton County Harley Davidson, Instant Copy, Custom Tees, Classic Cycles, Hot Rods & Chrome, Bark Avenue Day Spa, and Lafayette Billiards Plus. We hope to see you all next year for another great ride!

We participated in Shred Day at Lafayette Savings Bank to help the environment by spreading the word about free document shredding and recycling. A big THANK YOU to all those who donated and to Lafayette Savings Bank for hosting this event! Thanks to our wonderful volunteers that handed out information about our shelter at the event!

Doggie Dash 2010 was a huge success! Many people participated by running or walking. A huge Thank you to the shelters that we worked with on this event: North Central Indiana Spay & Neuter, Tri-County TNR, and Loving Heart Animal Shelter!! Thanks so much to all the event participants and especially the volunteers that helped this event run smoothly!! We look forward to next year's "2nd Annual Doggie Dash"!

Our first PetSmart adoption event was a success!!  A HUGE thanks to those that stopped in to say hello, and congratulations to those that found their best friend! Two dogs found new homes, and another one maybe met her new family at the event!

April 2010 - We hosted a community Thank You party at the shelter. The event was to thank everyone who has supported us and the celebrate our 501 (c) 3 status approval! Great food was provided by Texas Roadhouse and in spite of the rain, a good time was had by all!  Thanks again to everyone who came to celebrate with us and Thank you for your continued support!!

In 2009, our shelter held fundraiser events to allow us to continue helping homeless dogs. We held several dog washes and cleaned many dirty dogs!  Putt-For-A-Mutt was a fun evening of putt-putt golf while raising money for spaying and neutering dogs.

We walked in the Lafayette Christmas Parade with several of our dogs. A good time was had by all and even the highest energy dogs were worn out by the end!
